Box Elder

The box elder bug is a North American species of a true bug. It is found primarily on box elder trees, as well as maple and ash trees. Box elders are nuisance pests, but they don’t sting or transmit disease.

Box Elders can fly up to two miles to find suitable locations. They are often found in homes and on sunny exterior sides of buildings.
